Recycling Services
As an industry leader and the home of Montgomery County’s mixed paper recycling program, Office Paper Systems has built strong relationships with the region’s leading waste haulers and recyclers.
We also work closely with all of our customers, ensuring they understand the recycling process and implement efficient and effective recycling programs. We constantly monitor the materials we receive and strive to maintain a level of quality that maximizes the amount of material that will ultimately be recycled.
Paper Recycling
Recycled paper is made from waste paper, usually mixed with fresh wood pulp. If the paper contains ink, the paper must be de-inked. De-inking also removes fillers, clays, and fiber fragments.
Cardboard Recycling
Two types of cardboard can be recycled: flat cardboard, which is typically used in cereal and shoe boxes, and corrugated cardboard, which has a ruffled layer between the two flat pieces of cardboard and is often used in packing boxes.
Equipment Used For Recycling
Office Paper Systems provides containers of various size and type to clients with both internal and external recycling needs. Clients can also purchase internal recycling containers to help manage their recycling programs ensuring materials are recycled correctly.
