PRIVACY POLICY

Introduction

This Website is defined as the network of web pages or website located at www.opsus.com and is owned and operated by Office Paper Systems, Inc. and does not include the web pages or websites of any third-party sellers of products or services.  Unless otherwise noted on the Website, each web page with www.opsus.com in its URL is governed by this Privacy Policy.

Our Privacy Policy below outlines the type of information we collect and receive from you while you are within the Website, as well as ways in which we process and, sometimes, share such information and how you can correct or change such information. PLEASE REVIEW THIS PRIVACY POLICY AND THE TERMS OF USE CAREFULLY.  YOUR USE OF THIS WEBSITE SIGNIFIES YOUR AGREEMENT TO THE TERMS OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY.

IP Address:

For each visitor to a page on the Website, our web server automatically recognizes and stores the visitor's IP Address/Domain Name combination. Your IP Address is the specific number that is assigned by your ISP (Internet Service Provider) to your computer to identify its location. Your computer provides this information automatically each time you log on, unless you've activated blocking technology available in some browsers.  We use your IP Address to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our website.

Personal Information:

We also may combine your IP Address/Domain Name combination with other personally identifiable information you specifically and voluntarily provide us.  A visitor to our Website may choose to provide this information when requesting a quote, applying for a job or otherwise contacting us. When a visitor provides this type of personally identifiable information to us, we use it solely for the purposes for which it was provided.

Our policy is not to share personally identifiable information with third parties other than as specified under the heading “How do we use personal information that we gather about you?” unless required by law.

We recognize that your information is valuable and we take all reasonable measures to protect your information while it is in our care and will use it only as we set forth in this policy.

Children’s Information

Our policy is that we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from individuals under 13 years of age. The Website is a general audience website and is not directed or intended for children under 13 years of age. If you are under 13 years of age, you should not provide personally identifiable information on the Website. If you are the parent or guardian of a child whom you believe has disclosed personally identifiable information to us, please contact us at service@opsus.com so that we may delete and remove such child's information from our systems.

E-mails

We will, on occasion, send emails to visitors about our services or third-party products when you have expressed an interest in them and have provided us with your e-mail address to contact you. When you receive the email, you have the opportunity to 'Opt Out' in the manner as described under the subsection “E-mail Communications” under the heading “What personal information do we gather?”

What websites does this policy apply to?

This privacy policy applies to this Website only. This Website may include links to other websites, including links to websites of certain third-party business partners (as defined under “Businesses We Do Not Control Offering Products or Services on the Website”), and this privacy policy does not apply to any other website that has a link on our Website.  If you click on a link and leave our Website, you should check the privacy and/or security policy of that website.

What information do we gather?

The information we learn from visitors and customers helps us to personalize and continually improve the Website. We gather the following types of information:

-    Information you provide to us

We receive and store any information you enter on our Website, provide to us via telephone when we contact you with a phone number that you have previously provided to us, or give to us in any other way, including your name, address, e-mail address, telephone number or other information that you may provide to us in order to receive a free quote for our services (i.e. site information, number of boxes for pick-up, etc.) or your credit card information (hereinafter, personal information such as your name, address, e-mail address, telephone number and credit card information shall be referred to as “personal information”). You can choose not to provide certain information, but then we may not be able to contact you to provide a quote for our services or you may not be able to access all of the areas of our Website or receive services from us. We use the information that you provide to us for such purposes as responding to your requests, improving our site, communicating with you and charging you for our services.

-    Automatic Information

We receive and store certain website activity information whenever you interact with our Website. We may use small text files called cookies described in greater detail under the heading “What about Cookies?” to improve the overall site experience, however, these cookies are not used to track individual identifiable visitors to our site. We use cookies to obtain certain types of information when your browser accesses our Website such as IP Address/Domain name combination and your path through our Website. Data collected automatically during your visit to the Website is used for internal review and may be used to improve or customize the Website content or layout and/or notify you, by e-mail, about new services or third-party products and updates to our Website.  The use of cookies is now standard operating procedure for most websites, however if you are uncomfortable with the use of cookies, most browsers now permit users to opt-out of receiving them and allow you to visit websites anonymously, however you forfeit the personalization of the Website by enabling this.

What about Cookies?

- Cookies are small packets of information that the Web Site’s computer stores on your computer. The information in the cookie is transmitted from your computer to us, our agents, or to one of our third-party authorized service contractors or Business Partners. The information contained in these cookies makes it possible for us to recognize your browser and to know if you are presently logged onto the Web Site or whether you have done so in a prior visit and provide us with information such as your IP Address/Domain Name combination and where you visited on the Website. This technology also enables us to instantly determine your access privileges while allowing you to navigate the Website or any of the Website’s services without your having to repeatedly log in.

Cookies from us and/or one of our authorized service contractors or Business Partners are also used to collect standard information transmitted from your web browser including, without limitation, your Internet protocol address, browser type, web pages you visited with date and time, service requests you made from us on the Website and the type of operating system on your computer. This information is used to help us understand and meet the ever-changing needs and interests of our visitors and customers.

The 'help' portion of the toolbar on most browsers will tell you how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, how to have the browser notify you when you receive a new cookie, or how to disable cookies altogether.

However, cookies allow you to take full advantage of our Website's features, and we recommend that you leave them turned on.

Pixel Gifs

We also use web beacon technology to help track site usage. Web beacons (also called single pixel gifs or action tags) allow us to track page viewing counts and patterns which we use to focus and tailor future content development, measure the effectiveness of our own marketing campaigns and assist with broadband capacity management for the Website. We also may employ web beacons within the context of certain e-mails in order to determine the effectiveness and appeal of those mailings. These web beacons 'sense' and notify us if and when you open the e-mail, if your e-mail program is capable of displaying HTML messages, and where you may navigate within these HTML messages.

-    Email Communications

We may receive information from you if you e-mail us in response to an e-mail that we send to you.  If you do not want to receive email or other mail from us, you may choose to opt out from the receipt of e-mails from us by clicking on a link in the e-mail itself or notifying us that you have changed your mind and do not wish to continue to receive e-mails from us by sending an email to us at service@opsus.com.

How do we share personal information that we gather about you?

Information about our visitors and customers is an important part of our business, and we are not in the business of selling it to others in the normal course of business; however, we may share your personal information with third-parties under the following circumstances:

-    Service Providers

We may share your personally identifiable information and/or aggregate information with our affiliates, technical consultants, third party auditors and other third parties who work with us to create or maintain the Website, enhance its functionality or provide associated services and/or deal with you in processing your orders and/or delivering content, products or services.

-    Aggregate Non-Personal Information

We may use aggregated non-personal information that we gather from your use and movements around the Website, but no personal information linked to it, to supply market research to third-parties to help them understand who our customer base is.

-    Business Transfers

As we continue to develop our business, we might sell or buy assets. In such transactions, customer information generally is one of the transferred business assets. Also, in the unlikely event that our company or substantially all of its assets are acquired, visitor and customer information will of course be one of the transferred assets.

-    Our Protection and the Protection of Others

We release visitor and customer information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law or a court order; enforce or apply our Terms of Use and other agreements; or to protect our rights, property, or safety or the rights, property or safety of our users, or other third-parties. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection.

-    Businesses We Do Not Control Offering Products or Services on the Website

Certain information or products or services that are offered or provided through the Website may, from time to time, be provided on or through other websites that are operated by, or in conjunction with, certain third-party business partners (“Business Partners”).  If you fill out forms regarding products or services of these Business Partners through our Website or a website that has the same look and feel as our website (i.e. co-branded websites such as websites where the Business Partner’s logo or name may appear or the Business Partner’s name may be part of the URL) or access the products or services through our Website or such co-branded website, you will have opted-in for us to provide your information collected on our Website or such co-branded websites to these Business Partners and we may provide your information to these Business Partners so that they can provide the product or service to you.  They may also then contact you directly about other products and services that may be of interest. A Business Partner’s use of any information shared will be subject to that Business Partner’s own privacy policy.

Other than as we have described under this section entitled “How do we share personal information that we gather about you?”, we do not plan to share any of your personal information with any third-party.

How Secure is Information About Me?

The importance of security for all personally identifiable information associated with our visitors and customers providing information to us as described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy is of utmost concern to us. We exercise reasonable care in providing secure transmission of your personally identifiable information from your PC to our servers and ensuring the security of your information on our systems and we take steps within our facilities reasonably designed to help protect your personally identifiable information from unauthorized access, use, modification, disclosure or destruction.  Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we take steps to protect your information, we can't ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us or from our online products or services, and you do so entirely at your own risk.

Your Consent

By submitting your information to us, you are consenting to the uses that we have described in this privacy policy.  If you do not consent to these uses, then you should “opt out” where available, activate blocking technology if available in your browser, choose not to submit your data to us where we request it from you or otherwise choose not to use this Website or otherwise contact us at service@opsus.com to notify us that you no longer consent to these uses.

What Choices Do I Have?

- You can choose not to provide your information to us or you may choose to not fill out any forms on the Website.
- Should you receive an unwanted email or direct mail piece from us, you have the option to “Opt Out” of receipt of emails by clicking on the link in the e-mail or to send an email directly to us at service@opsus.com to be removed from future direct mailings.

What happens if You Opt Out?

If you do Opt Out, we will no longer use the information that you provide to us for any of our direct mailings for marketing purposes; however, (i) we may use the information in order to perform requested services for you or to assist us in our business (such as use for responding to billing inquiries) and (ii) our agreement not to use your information for direct marketing purposes as described herein only includes the information that we possess and does not include any information that we may have already shared with third-parties Business Partners at your request (in order for such third-party Business Partners to perform services for you or to provide products to you).

Correction/Updating Personal Information - Opt-Out

If your personally identifiable information changes (such as your address, zip code), or if you no longer desire to use or access the Website, we encourage you to correct, update or remove the personal information that you provided. This can be done by contacting us at service@opsus.com. Keep in mind, however, that even if you delete your account from our records, there will be residual information that will remain within our databases, access logs, and other records, which may or may not contain personally identifiable information. We are not responsible for updating or removing any information contained in any lists or databases of third-parties.

Conditions of Use, Notices, and Revisions

If you choose to visit any part of the Website, your visit and any dispute over privacy is subject to this notice and our Terms of Use, including disclaimers of warranties and application of the law of the State of Maryland. If you have any concern about privacy, please send us a thorough description to service@opsus.com, and we will try to resolve it.

This privacy policy was last changed in March 2009.   This privacy policy may change without notice, and use of information that we gather now is subject to the privacy policy in effect at your time of use.
