Testimonial

As a financial institution dealing with very sensitive member information it is vital that we deal with a reputable company that is aware of our needs. Office Paper Systems has met those needs on many occasions. Whenever we needed a scheduled pickup, an extra pickup, a change in a pickup or needed extra supplies (bins - recycle boxes for staff) they have honored our request in a timely manner. Thank you Office Paper Systems for your support over the past several years.

Is it really free?

YES! It's really free. We have an established commercial operation and opening our doors to the public was a natural step in extending our outreach and supporting our community and environment. All of the shredded material will be recycled.

Can I watch?

Yes, however this option is subject to a $30.00 fee. Customers that wish to view the process will sign in, be issued a visitor badge and will be escorted into the destruction facility to witness the destruction of their own material. The fee is necessary due to the additional labor, time and procedures involved.

What size/type of boxes or bags can I use?

We accept all box and bag types and generally receive material in standard banker or legal size boxes. Many visitors also use various packing boxes, plastic/paper bags and totes.

Can I keep my boxes?

Yes! We transfer your documents into our secure containers on arrival. Please let the destruction specialists know you would like to keep your boxes and we will happily transfer the contents. Remember re-use is one of the best forms of recycling!

What if I have more than 10 boxes?

We can usually accommodate more than 10 boxes, however we ask that you call 301-948-6301 or email service@opsus.com to discuss volume and drop off availability.

What is the process?

On arrival at our location, notify the office you have material for shredding. A destruction specialist will be called to securely transfer material from your vehicle into our containers. The specialists then transport the containers directly into our destruction facility where the contents will be added to our commercial volume and securely destroyed.

Can I trust the documents are securely destroyed?

Yes! The process is NAID AAA certified for our mobile and plant based shredding operations. This certification ensures that we are fully compliant with all existing laws and regulations regarding the destruction of sensitive material.

Do you offer weekend hours?
